Located in the centre of Cecil Court, the quiet pedestrian lane lined with antiquarian bookshops, tucked away in London's bustling West End, Marchpane opened in August 1989. It was started by Laurence Worms (Ash Rare Books) and his then Director, Kenneth Fuller. Laurence kindly sold the business to Kenneth and now, nearly 30 years later it is a thriving rare (in both senses) London bookshop. Marchpane is the premier specialist in Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland, Alice Liddell, books and ephemera in the West End. We welcome visitors in person and via the Internet, we keep regular shop hours, no appointment necessary. Marchpane is proud to be a key member of the burgeoning Cecil Court community.
